A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

The plot of Radium Master

Who you are?

You are playing as Jonathan the radium master.

From some bad circumstances he left his home and accompained with his dad's old friend Issac who teaches you how to deal with radiation and use it for your special powers.

Prequel

The galactic situation is critical. The most of Milky Way was occupied by Gasman Hord and the Rebels of Radium Masters stand against them to protect the rest of galaxy! Unfortunatly, the King of Gasman Hord found out from one person about Crystal of RBA that can unlock all of person's potential and become the master of everything...

But that crystal was cutted onto 7 separate pieces that are at different points of Milky Way. The only person who knows where they are is Issac. He and your dad hid those pieces. So with help of your dad's old friend you are able to collect those things as fast as possible. What to do with this crystal? Issac is not able to talk about it yet...

How game starts?

The game starts right before its end. You have already collected all pieces of Crystal of RBA and now you're moving to the place where Issac should be. On your way you're encounting some enemies and instead of Issac, you see some mystirious general with gold mask on his head so called the Goldhead General...

What's gonna be next? I think it'd be better to play the demo and not to read all of this yapping!

Features:

  • A turn-based combat system, obviously.
  • Some funny and goofy enemies' messages when they waste their turn or make a special move.  Example:
  • Funny dialogues.
  • Save and load just by pushing F5 and F9 keys.
  • No level-based progression! "What a wierd thing!", you may say... but in the Radium Master you should upgrade your character's status by yourself (e.g. there will be some window where you can select what status you want to upgrade) by using Radium Points or RP for short. Note, that this upgrading system will come in the full game, in the current demo there is only preset statistics.

    How to play?

    • Arrow Keys (Keyboard) or Right Stick/DPad (Controller) - movement / UI navigation
    • Z/Enter (Keyboard) or A (Controller) - use / open chest / continue dialogue / select
    • X (Keyboard) or B (controller) - back / skip text printing
    • TAB (Keyboard) or X/Start (Controller) - open inventory
    • S (Keyboard) or Y (Controller) - show your status
    • Escape (Keyboard) or Select (Controller) - pause menu
    • F5 (Keyboard) or press Right Stick (Controller) - save game progress
    • F9 (Keyboard) or press Left Stick (Controller) - load game progress

    Enjoy the game!

P.S. Planning on extending the demo which will include both this prologue section and future first chapter. There will be a good amount of work but I'll work at my best.

    Install instructions

So how to play the game?

Follow those steps my dear gamer:

    • Install the .zip archive for Windows or .tar.gz archive for Linux
    • Extract archive somewhere
    • And find in the game directory "Radium Master.exeon Windows, for Linux it's just "Radium Master"
    • Run it!

Also if for some reason you will encounte some problems after changing some settings, you can go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Code Watermelon\Radium Master\ on Windows or home/.config/Code Watermelon/Radium Master/ on Linux and open settings.json , so you can change settings there and fix some issues.
